Comparison
A Mailtrack alternative that doesn’t brand your emails
Mailtrack (now rebranded as Mailsuite) is great at showing you if someone opened your email. But the free tier stamps “Sent with Mailtrack” on every email you send. Lookt gives you the same tracking, nothing in your signature, and more features free.
Three reasons people switch
No "Sent with Mailtrack" in your emails
Mailtrack appends their branding to the bottom of every email on the free tier. To a prospect or hiring manager, it signals you're using a free tool. Lookt never adds any text, logo, or signature to your emails on any plan.
More features on the free plan
Mailtrack's free tier only shows you a double-check confirmation. Exact open counts and full timestamps showing every time they opened it are locked behind their paid plan. Lookt gives you both on free.
A fifth of the price on Pro
Mailtrack Pro is $9.99/month. Lookt Pro is $2/month flat, or $18/year, so you get the same core Pro features for about a fifth of the cost.

Common questions
Can I import my existing Mailtrack data into Lookt?
Not yet. Mailtrack doesn't expose an export API. Going forward, every email you send through Gmail with Lookt installed is tracked from day one.
Is Lookt as reliable as Mailtrack for open detection?
Both use the same technique, a 1×1 tracking pixel, so open detection is essentially the same. It depends on whether the recipient's email client loads images, not on the tracker. The honest caveat for any pixel tracker, Lookt included: privacy features like Apple Mail Privacy Protection can pre-fetch an image and register as an open, so treat it as a strong signal rather than absolute proof.
Does switching require any changes to Gmail?
No. Just uninstall Mailtrack and install Lookt from the Chrome Web Store. Sign in with Google, and Lookt starts tracking your next email automatically.
What if I'm on Mailtrack Pro — do I lose features?
Lookt Pro at $2/month covers the same core features as Mailtrack Pro: link tracking, device info, location, reports, and no branding. A few niche Mailtrack features (like Gmail double-check ticks) aren't replicated; Lookt shows a separate dashboard instead.
Try it free. No signature, no catch.
Add Lookt to Chrome and your next email is tracked. Nothing added to your signature, nothing to configure.
